Brimming with history, Duke John’s Cellar is located in the Castle bailey. Built in the 16th century, it has served many functions over the centuries, for instance as a governor’s formal residence. The banquet facilities include the pleasant Leivintupa and the larger vaulted Holvisali hall, which hosts festive dinners.

The home of the Turku Philharmonic Orchestra is a traditional hall which hosts, among other events, the Degree Ceremonies of the Universities of Turku.
The building is the first in Finland specifically built for concert use, and the building has mostly maintained its original 1952 functional style. The lobby and reception areas are also suitable for event use.

Lords’ Cellar is one of the most unusual and intimate rooms of the Main Castle. The Cellar has an arched ceiling that differs from other conventional arched structures of the time. The atmospheric arches were built in the 14th century. The Land Court established in Turku by Eric of Pomerania held its sessions in the Lords’ Cellar. The Cellar may be rented for closed events when deemed appropriate.

Nobleman Johan Oswald Wasastjerna built Villa Wolax in 1899 to serve as his summer home in Kuusisto island. Now groups are invited to enjoy the atmosphere and maritime surroundings. In bygone days summers were spent enjoying the archipelago with music and dancing out on the terrace. The grounds at Villa Wolax still provide the same atmosphere as feelings from the past remain.
Groups of all sizes will find the maritime ambience perfect for conferences and celebrations as well as sauna evenings.

The Visitor and Innovation Centre Joki is the largest conference centre in Turku and the only joint company showroom in the Nordic countries. Joki is located in the Turku Science Park, at the heart of business life and higher education activities and just a stone’s throw from the Kupittaa railway station and the Helsinki motorway.
