Sigyn Hall is built in the grounds of the shipyard hall completed in 1928 and the rope factory built in 1934. The Sigyn hall and its reception areas combine old shipyard atmosphere with internationally recognised modern architecture, and provide excellent facilities for concerts, seminars and events.

The Turku Fair Center has the longest and most diverse experience in hosting large conferences, congresses and exhibitions in Turku. The Center contains a modern auditorium, four exhibition halls and its own reliable technical department, the Turku Fair Service. This recently renovated administrative building dates back to 1967. It is a prime example of the architecture of its time. The Aitiopaikka banquet hall contains the building’s original protected stone wall. Brimming with history, Duke John’s Cellar is located in the Castle bailey. Built in the 16th century, it has served many functions over the centuries, for instance as a governor’s formal residence. The banquet facilities include the pleasant Leivintupa and the larger vaulted Holvisali hall, which hosts festive dinners.

Turku Castle Banquet Halls are a unique, historical venue. Duke John and Katarina Jagellonica held the Renaissance Court in the King´s Hall, Queen´s Hall and Queen´s Chamber in the 1560s. Duke John’s Renaissance Banquet is a famous programme for dinner, where guests travel back in time to experience the ambiance and culture of 1562.

The Castle dates back to the 13th century and provides surroundings which encapsulate Finland’s history. The Bryggman Hall on the south side of the Castle features a vaulted ceiling and is a modern meeting space for 120 guests. You can enjoy a lunch at the Southern Hall or smaller Juhana Herttua cellar on the bailey side. Some of the banquet and meeting facilities can be accessed from an easy access entrance.
